Sour Cream Coffee Cake

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

For Topping

  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Mix all loaf ingredients together.
Mix the topping ingredients and set aside.
In a baking pan, place half the batter in the pan followed by half of the topping.
Pour in the remainder of the batter, followed by the remainder of the topping.
Pat the topping into the batter slightly so that it doesn't fall off.
Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
