Rhubarb Sauce

  • 2 cups rhubarb
  • 1 cup sugar


Cut off leaves and roots from stalks of rhubarb.
Wash and cut rhubarb into 3/4" long pieces
Cook the rhubarb and sugar in the upper part of a double boiler until soft or in a baking dish in the oven until tender (no water is required).
Keep covered while cooking and do not stir.
