- 6 tbsp butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 6 tbsp flour
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup light cream or half
and half
- 1 1/2 cups cooked cut up
chicken
- 1 pkg frozen assorted veggies
Melt butter.
Add flour salt and pepper (a wisk is good).
Add broth and cream. Keep stirring (do not leave unattended). Cream should
be like a pudding texture.
Cook veggies in micro for 2 minutes to get rid of water.
Add veggies and chicken to sauce. Can also add 2 or 3 boiled potatoes.
Pour everything in a casserole or baking pan.
Use pillsbury pie dough® to cover.
Put 3 or 4 holes in the dough.
Pat with milk and bake 45-60 min at 375 or until crust is brown.
